Dear members, visitors and friends,
As you may be able to see at our shelter, we are getting the fencing project underway.
(Pictures will be posted ASAP when it is finished). Although the Ohio winter weather is holding up the contractors from continuing their progress. But they will get it done ASAP!
We are still working hard to get our no-kill animal shelter finished and open. We are aiming for the summer of 2025 if enough funding is received to finish it and have enough in reserve for the operations of the shelter.
We have so much more to do, especially inside, but this progress is also being made slowly but surely.
If you consider it is only $15.00 a year for an adult membership, and only $5.00 a year for a junior member, 17 year and under, this is a real bargain! Every month members are sent a newsletter, financial report and minutes of each meeting, unless the meeting is cancelled due to weather. We meet at the shelter the second Thursday of each month at 3 pm.
We encourage you to join our great and growing organization, to get our no-kill animal shelter finished for Carroll County, Carrollton, Ohio!
Have patience with us. We are doing our best to keep going to reach our goal and provide a safe place for the unwanted and abandoned animals of Carroll Couty, Ohio.
If you look at the 2007-2025 page of construction, it will show what we have accomplished during this time! There is a list of things at the bottom of the page we need that are vital to the shelter's operation for the safety of the animals and also the volunteers and the public.
If at any time you would like to visit the shelter to see what we have done, please contact me at our email address: carrollcountyapl@yahoo.com and I would be most happy to give you a tour!
Visit our website often, as we are posting things on a weekly basis especially our upcoming fundraisers and events.
Sincerely,
Eileen Rohrer, Founder, President, and Director
